1: Lord
Pick a person or thing to be your Lord. If your Lord is killed, broken, or socially demolished, your Lord is Destroyed and you no longer have a Lord. Your Lord has 2 LORD POINTS. If your Lord hits 0 LORD POINTS, it is Destroyed and you no longer have a Lord.
Your Lord being destroyed by LORD POINTS does not affect the actual thing you chose to imprint your Pride on.
If your Lord has been destroyed, you must avenge them before you can get a new Lord. Pick 1d4 things to Destroy. Each one of these things must be dangerous to Destroy or valuable. Once all 1d4 of the things are Destroyed, you may choose a new Lord. It has LORD POINTS equal to 1 + your levels in Ninja.
1: Placed Sense Of Duty
You can convince yourself that some person or thing has committed a grave slight not just against you and your honor, but also against your Lord (You must have a Lord to do this). Write it down as your Target. You gain a +2 bonus to any CHECK that works to the Destruction (physical or social) of your Target. If either your Target or Lord is Destroyed, clear your Target (erase their name from your character sheet).
You can only have one Target at a time. If you change Targets without clearing one first, your Lord loses 1 LORD POINT.
3: Lord's Patronage
At any point, you may request a new katana from your Lord. You will find it in some unsearched corner of whatever room you are in. When you first unsheathe it, you can reveal it to have one of the following effects:
- Extends to a 10' pole.
- Turns into 30' of rope.
- Treats an ATTACK CHECK roll of 19 (before modifiers) as a roll of 20 (before modifiers).
- Has built in lockpicks (you know how to use katana lockpicks, even if you don't know normal lockpicks).
- Emits bright light.
If you are holding the katana when you roll a 1 on a CHECK, before modifiers, it shatters.
Roll a MIND CHECK, target number 10, when you request the katana. If you fail, your Lord loses 1 LORD POINT.
5: Stable
Whenever you roll a CHECK, roll a d10 instead of a d20. If the result is 6 or greater, add 10. The resulting number counts as "before modifiers".
7: Critical Strike
After you roll for a CHECK you may expend one of your Lord's LORD POINTs to set the roll's result to 20.
